Treets you vegan since 2024!
Treets is Piasten's orange-coloured flagship and the popular love brand for snacking fans with a focus on sustainability and naturalness. With a steadily growing dragee portfolio, the brand, which is headquartered in Forchheim, Bavaria, is primarily present on the European market.
In 2024, the previously vegetarian Treets portfolio was expanded to include a vegan peanut variant. Following the successful launch in Germany and the Netherlands, two further vegan snack highlights followed in 2025: Vegan Crunchy Corn and Vegan Crispy. Treets is thus expanding its vegan range and strengthening its position in the growing vegan market. The vegan Treets appeal to the increasing number of consumers who want to enjoy snacks without animal ingredients, without having to compromise on enjoyment and fun. All dragées are dyed with vegan colours and are made in Germany.
Piasten, Bavaria's largest confectionery manufacturer and Germany's largest dragee manufacturer, has been part of Katjes International GmbH und Co KG since 2014. The Treets brand was launched in Germany and selected European countries in 2018.
With around 450 employees, Piasten generates net sales of around EUR 100 million p.a. Piasten GmbH is based in Forchheim near Nuremberg and looks back on over 100 years of history.
